Relax in a sprawling 10-acre estate of Pataudi in Haryana. The main building is a typical example of colonial gothic architecture with arcades and pillars. The estate contains the main palace with 10 suites, two colonial era bungalows, one of which is a guesthouse with five rooms, and the other was reserved for the royal guests of the family, rose gardens, fountains, private gardens, cricket pitch and badminton court. The palace exudes a striking resemblance with the Teen Murti House of New Delhi. The architect responsible for building this palace was Austrian architect, Karl Molt Von Heinz.
The unique feature of the palace is its stunning symmetry on either side. It was named Ibrahim Kothi as the builder Nawab Iftikhar Ali Khan named it after his father. The palace has separate areas for the men and women residents of the house. Much of the traditions are still being carried on to allow the guests a glimpse of the royal lifestyle.
