Karni Bhawan Palace was the royal residence of Maharaja Dr. Karni Singh, a modern-day maharaja of Bikaner. It is now a Royal Retreat surrounded by sprawling lawns located within the desert city of Bikaner. It was built in a luxurious art deco style, popular by the 1950s in the US and Europe. Its Doric pillars, ornamental staircases and large windows are a testimony to an aesthetic brilliance of the past. Accommodation
This magnificent colonial architecture was first converted in to a Heritage Hotel in the year 1986 having 12 rooms. Later during 1994 more rooms were made thus having a total of 31 well furnished air conditioned rooms. There are 5 suites and 26 standard rooms. These rooms are elaborately decorated having ethnic Rajasthani fabrics depicting the festive themes. The romantic ambiance made by the luxury inside this splendid Heritage Hotel provides the Rajasthani charm of hospitality to its guests. There are some suites with dining facilities in the balconies and are having huge bay windows which gives the atmosphere a royal essence.
