The erstwhile hill fort, which is now a hotel accommodation, was built by the Yaduvanshi Rajputs, who belonged to Lord Krishna’s clan. Under the rule of Ranawat Thakur Bhawani Singh between 1882 and 1934, the hill resort witnessed its most glorious period.
