Sukhdam Kothi
Kota is situated in the Southern Rajasthan. Kota serves as an army headquarter in Rajasthan. It is also the industrial centre, powered by hydro electric plants on the Chambal river.
Hotel Overview
In 1870 during the colonial rule in India, the British Rulers built the Sukhdham Kothi, which was used boarding purposes of the British. Sukhdham in Hindi means the house of happiness and peace. The name well fits the ambiance of the hotel, which is green allover replicating an orchard. Maharaja Umed Singhji Bahadur in 1922 changed the Sukhdham name into Sukhdham Haveli. During the British rule in India this place was used as the official residence of the British surgeon. The same became the residence of Thakur Prithvi Singhji who was then the general officer commanding. The whole structure of the building is the camouflage of Indian and European styles of architecture. The lush green orchard amidst which the Sukhdham stands adds to its glory.

Hotel Palkiya Haveli
