This fortified 16th century castle turned into an exotic hotel during 1991. Vijay Singh, a descendent of the Maharana Pratap clan commissioned it. Bijaipur in its early days was a bastion of the Mewar Rajputs and stronghold of war frontiers. Renovated and maintained by Rao Saheb Narendra Singh, the castle today has large tourist base.
